New option in Adventure Tourism: Mountain Bike Salta
All visitors arriving in Salta, may enjoy a new option in adventure tourism in the province. The company MTB Salta, went on the market offering different circuits in Canadian canoes and mountain bike in the vicinity of the city and also in Cachi, Cafayate and downhill at the Cuesta del Obispo.
His strength is the quality of the equipment used. All bikes are new, excellent quality and brands as GT, Kona, Giant, Zenith and Bianchi. Helmets of very good marks, individual tools by bike, reflective vests and bilingual guides, experts familiar with the region, complete the team.
The regular circuits (those emerging every day) are armed for all kinds of audiences, from people without experience to athletes. Its most popular circuit, is undoubtedly "El Toro Circuit", the most enjoyable for people with little experience in bicycles and without an optimal physical condition. Certainly, the landscape that runs on this circuit wonders to anyone wanting to discover hidden corners of Salta province.

One option that requires a little more resistance, is the "Quebrada de San Lorenzo" a beautiful place with lush vegetation and many streams that cross the grave roads that abound in the area.
Other interesting option is a circuit in canadian canoes  in Campo Alegre Dam. Is ideal for families, or people who want to stay in touch with nature without making a great effort. This is the preferred option in the warm summer evenings, as it is possible to bathe in the pure and non-polluted waters of the lake. With a short walk or trekking, you can have a wonderful vision of the area and have the sensation of being in direct contact with nature, without the presence of other persons.

And for most athletes, MTB Salta offers an excursion combined, bringing together the activities of cycling and canoeing, to shape the famous Bike+Canoe, a trip that lasts a full day and includes lunch.

To contact MTB Salta, you can go through the offices of Uma Travel, located in the heart of the city, two blocks from the main square (Nine of July). The address is: Gral. Guemes 569 - Tel.: (+54 387) 422-8317 - For enquiries after hours trading, is enabled the next cellphone (24 hours): (+54 387) 155-2714 99 - Also can visit the website (which is in construction) www.mtbsalta.com to see the circuits with their characteristics.
